[ It comes as a blur, all at once, where Jason is overwhelmed with the memories of his death, the canoe oar through his chest, and— He's never had the strongest constitution when it comes to death, especially not his own. He wakes up and clutches his chest, feeling dizzy from those memories, and looks around, pale and haunted. His stomach is queasy, and he feels like he still might barf, but— ]
Am I—? [ Dead? No, he can't say it, so he just looks around more. ] Where the fuck am I?
[ Jason looks up, startled, then baffled, and it's clear for a moment that he's unsure of how to respond, but he remembers what he had learned about the killers, that they weren't in control of their actions. He's still shaking slightly, but he stands up, carefully. ]
[This...is not good. Not that Jason's death comes as any surprise, but Klavier still looks more serious than usual when he greets him.]
The woods in the camp. The ranger has been generous enough to grant us front-row tickets to the show, it seems. [He sighs.] Please don't take this the wrong way, Herr Stackhouse, but I can't say I'm happy to see you've joined our numbers.
[ She's known ever since she arrived here two days ago, but she doesn't have an easy time knowing that the final killer has taken away an important piece of this "game," even with Athena and Apollo still remaining. Stormer can't answer his question, she doesn't try to, because she doesn't know how to fully articulate it herself.
Instead, she walks over to him and tries her best to smile at him, though there's nothing but sadness behind it. ]
[ Mary had been on of the people that Jason was most alarmed to see dead, so when he sees her, he's quick to stand up, looking at least somewhat relieved. ]
Mary... Shit, Mary, I'm— [ Glad to see you? No. He's not, because she shouldn't be here in the first place. ] I'm sorry, Mary. I should've... I don't know. You shouldn't have ended up here.
Yeah? Well, I ain't fuckin' happy to be stuck here with you either. All the rest of the killers, they didn't mean to do shit, but you didn't give a fuck, did you?
[A little later in the morning Youmu approaches prosecutor Gavin. Even though her serious expression had returned she seems somewhat eager]
Prosecutor!
I'm afraid yesterdays investigation didn't uncover that much information but I did find something a little strange in the woods.
[At first she was wondering if it had been anything at all but they were so close now any little thing could be crucial]
I noticed there were some disturbances, if I were to guess I think there might have been some kind of fight or struggle. The marks didn't look recent though, and if my killing was anything to go by the victims wouldn't have been able to fight back anyway.
I wonder if it's from past games, maybe even the missing children incident... Did you find anything at the lake?
Good work! Nothing unusual in the lake, but from what the ranger said to Athena today, I'd be willing to bet that the marks are from the original murders. The bodies were found in the woods after all. [He nods at her.] Take me to them?
she looks at him sharply before bowing her head with a snort and under her breath: ] Someone's been eavesdropping.
[ then normally: ] I don't understand why you three are so adamant about the truth. You're one lynching away from walking out of here with your lives. No one else seems to be so bothered by it.
"You can blame me for the fact there's a game in the first place"
Geez, you practically told us your role yesterday.
[Youmu stems into the cabin, she would knock first if she were corporeal enough to touch solid objects but no such luck. She takes a moment to look around her surroundings, it's the first time she's been completely inside]
[ Stormer just seems completely worn out and she's even more so by today's news. At first, she thinks of ignoring the Ranger entirely and waiting for this entire thing to finally end, but that wouldn't satisfy her.
She doesn't know what will at this point, but maybe talking this time will be worth it. She steps in and stands there for a moment watching her, mulling over her choice of words. Idly, she plays with some splinted wood on the door frame. ]
Will you look at that...they actually pulled it off. Well done, everyone.
[and then so, so dryly] Though I would feel a little better if she revived us before someone shoots her. But judging from the type of person she is, I wouldn't be surprised if she took that little secret to the grave.
I suppose we'll just have to wait until later to ask.
[Because as far as Youmu's concerned the Ranger will just end up here like the rest of them]
Although... I can't help but be a little worried. I wonder if killing the Ranger will really put everyone's spirit at ease, hopefully she won't become a vengeful spirit herself.
[ Stormer sticks a little bit further away, not really willing to be a part of any scintillating group discussions since she told the Ranger that she would stay there with her regardless. It takes her some debating with herself wether she should speak up or not, but she respects Klavier's word. It only seems right. ]
She told me she doesn't know where we're going after this ends... or what's going to happen to us when she dies. I don't think she's gonna give that secret away.

[So casual.]
I had a feelin' you were the detective. A shame what happened.
[And, despite being a Killer, his tone isn't snide or sarcastic. It's genuinely apologetic.]

What exactly is your name?
